Self-Love Exercise: The Loving Reflection

Start by looking at your reflection in the mirror. Say words to the effect of "I love you" or "I am willing to love you". Then focus on the centre of your chest (the Heart Chakra area) and beam as much love as you are able to to the reflection in the mirror. It doesn't matter how much or how little you feel it; even a drop at a time makes a difference. Continue to speak to yourself lovingly and sending yourself love for as long as you want. Even a minute or two at a time is perfect. Incorporating short, frequent sessions throughout the day (for example any time you go to the bathroom) is ideal. Feel free to adapt the words and make them your own; it's the intention and willingness to love that are important here.
